I'm a Finnish-Dutch artist, educator and organiser living in Amsterdam-Noord. In my work I explore the revolutionary potential of collective creativity. As an autodidact DJ, filmmaker and anarchist, clubs are my art school and protests my phd.

From 2014 to 2017 I was artistic director of Lighthouse in Brighton, UK. Lighthouse is an arts organisation that commissions, develops and presents the work of artists who use digital technology in their work – from young people starting out in their careers; to internationally renowned artists.
As artistic director I worked with a team of 13 colleagues, and countless freelancers and volunteers. Our programmes have traveled worldwide, made international press, reached thousands of visitors and viewers, supported a multitude of young audiovisual artists with residencies, training, education (an in-house MA at the University of Brighton), talent development programmes, festivals, exhibitions, commissions and international co-productions.
Some of the programmes we realised in this period were Progress Bar, The Sound of Story, Guiding Lights, A screaming comes across the sky, The Sprawl and Last Dance. We also commissioned and produced new works, by artists such as Larry Achiampong & David Blandy, Holly Herndon, Ville Haimala (Amnesia Scanner), Metahaven and Kuedo.
We worked with the BBC, BAFTA and BFI, and had experienced film and visual arts professionals involved in our programs such as Danny Boyle, Kenneth Branagh, Glenn Freemantle, Barbara Broccoli, Hossein Amini, Sam Mendes, Walter Murch, Joanna Hogg, Alex Garland, Abi Morgan, Hito Steyerl, Martha Rosler, the Otolith Group, Larry Achiampong, Elijah and Nira Park.
